Pioneering mRNA technology

Greenbox have been engaged to develop the architecture and interior design for the Australian production facility for one of the world’s leading pharmaceutical companies.

We are proud to be designing this world leading centre for innovation which will be the first place in the southern hemisphere to manufacture mRNA vaccines, after the Victorian Government reached an in-principle agreement with the Commonwealth Government and Moderna.

Phase 1 has a $500 Million construction budget.

The building design building block is based on Moderna’s bespoke manufacturing process, endorsed by global regulatory authorities.

The best in its class; this initiative will provide vaccine security, ensuring manufacturing can be contracted locally to avoid global supply chain issues and creating a more robust defence against future pandemics.
